TERM 1 FEES:  Fees are now due before the term starts.  This is a policy alot of dance schools are introducing to ensure that there is a committment to enrolments and that students on waiting lists are not waiting unncessarily.  Please ensure if you pay online that you ref term 1 and put students inital and last name. Aspire Arts Academy is based in Matamata.  We endeavour to be a performing arts school that provides quality arts education whilst ensuring we encompass the fun factor in all classes. 

We currently provide classes in Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet & Tap dance with the long term vision to one day provide classes in various performing art disciplines.  There are two main intakes in a year; at the beginning of the school year and in the middle of the school year. 
The first half of the year students work towards exams and in the later half of the year classes work towards the end of year show.

Yes its true!!! We are starting new dance genres at Aspire!
It has been a long time coming but we have decided to offer ballet & tap for 2012!  We will be following the NZAMD - New Zealand Association of Modern Dance syllabi for these two genres.  This association shares our philosophy of dancing to achieve whilst placing a strong emphasis on fun and enjoyment. Tammys passion for tap has meant she is keen to see modern tap offered with a contemporary hip hop flavour to the style - exciting times!  We are also hoping to get some ballroom classes cranking for 2012 but the start date for this is yet to be confirmed.  Please note that we will be starting slowly with these new genres so age groups will be mixed and classes kept smal to start withl.  To register your interest email us today!!!

You may notice that you know someone in a different class to you but your class times have emailed out to be at same time!? Thats because this year we will be running two studios - thats right Aspire will have a 2nd studio all rearing to go - same location 10 Short St.
